Educational Loan Repayment Program for Nurses, 2019

2018 Board of Nursing Relicensure LPN Survey Results

Changes in the LPN workforce over the past two years include a decline in the actual number licensed in Vermont. More LPNs are working directly with patients and fewer are working in hospitals. Forty-one percent are working in long term care/assisted living care.

Marilyn Rinker Memorial Scholarship

Vermont AHEC Announces New School Nurse Training

New School Nurse Training (NSNT) is a one-day program designed to engage school nurses in the process of transitioning to the autonomous role of school nurse as part of the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) concept. It was developed by the University of Vermont Office of Primary Care and Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Program with the Vermont Department of Health and school nurses.
